About MeMy name is Jane Miller. I'm a junior at Loyola University Chicago double majoring in Multimedia Journalism and Political Science. Over the course of my time at Loyola, I've developed an interest in strategic communications through my experiences in internships, jobs and student organizations. When I'm not in class, I enjoy writing for the university's award-winning newspaper, The Loyola Phoenix, and exploring new parts of the city. Most recently, I studied abroad in Rome at Loyola's John Felice Rome Center.
This past fall, I spent the semester in Washington D.C. as a public affairs intern for The Brookings Institution. During this time, I lived on Capitol Hill with a cohort of Loyola students as part of Loyola's Washington Program. I interned at Brookings full-time, four days a week while taking two night classes and an experiential learning class every Friday.
